Report:  24 teams were split into 6 groups of four and after the 'round robin' stage 16 teams progressed to the KO Stages.

On one side of the draw, a team from Lavant skipped by Peter Whale, beat a Horley team skipped by Martin Locke 12-5; a team from Ashington skipped by Gillian Weston beat a team from The Martlets skipped by Malcolm Rollings 14-3; a team from Forest skipped by Bert Brailey beat a team from Chanctonbury skipped by Ben Haulkham 9-5 and a further team from the Martlets skipped by Kyle McGowan  beat a team from B Goodwoods skipped by Jan Hanson 12-7.     At the Quarter Finals Peter's team beat Gillian's team 8-4 and Bert's team lost to Kyle's team 5-10.

On the other side of the draw a team from Ashington skipped by Peter Butcher lost 8-12 to a team from B Goodwoods skipped by Brenda Jones; a team from Chanctonbury skipped by Ron Booty beat a team from Crablands skipped by Ron Coombes 11-6; a team from Clapham skipped by Trevor Harman lost to a team from Chanctonbury skipped by Keith Hawkins 3-14 and finally a team from Upper Beeding skipped by Jean Armour-Milne beat a team from Chanctonbury skipped by Dan Blackman 12-3.    At the Quarter Finals Ron's team beat Brenda's team 7-5 and Keith's team beat Jean'' team 5-4.

The Semi Finals saw Ray Harding, John Heasman and Peter Whale (Lavant) beat Nigel Short, Marc Lancaster and Kyle McGowan (The Martlets) 11-2 and Carol Hawkins, Bernie Deeble and Keith Hawkins (Chanctonbury) beat Keith Paternoster, Eric Jackson and Ron Booty (Chanctonbury) 14-5.

In the final Keith's team beat Peter's team 9-5 as Chanctonbury became the County Triples Champions.  

Once again some good bowling.

PLAYING INFORMATION FOR THE DAY

24 Teams will play in six groups of Four.   Nine ends of 2 woods each player.   At the 'round robin' stage of the competition all teams will play on each run of the mats with a break built in after two games and a longer lunch break after the third game.

The Winner and Runners Up from each group, plus the best four 3rd places (to make a total of 16), will proceed to the knockout stage.

All teams will have a minimum of three games and it is anticipated that the competition will finish about 2:15 for those who do not qualify for the KO stage and any time up to 5.30 pm for those who do.
